Anne Veski is a famous Estonian singer who was widely popular during the Soviet era.
She can be seen in the music video on the right.
The title translates to "Anne Veski without Anne Veski"
The music heard from the cassette tape is not performed by her.

Made from two deconstructed screens.
The video playing on the LCD can only be seen with help of the light
emitting from the lightbox of the other deconstructed screen.
The video is playing an endless walk through green fields.

The radio is playing an old cassette mixtape whats contents I have interlaced with
another old cassette mixtape's contents and also fragments of modern radio.
All three have widely different textures due to the different recording methods.
This creates an absurd cacophony of sounds and a mixture of times.
This radio plays in a dark basement room lit up by a single old soviet lamp.

A film about a gas station located on the edge of life and death.
With the design, I tried to focus on the idea of liminal space.
A mixture of gas station design tropes and stereotypes ranging from
different times and cultures to create a space that is very familiar yet distant.
